It will walk you through the boss progression as well as direct you to some of the most important items to help you survive. Your goal is to complete the main quest line. Many mods have been developed for this pack to make a truly unique experience that offers an incredible challenge. Just about every config and customization that is possible to tweak has been tweaked. You will need to explore the world for boosts in power and quality of life. Are you warrior enough to try to survive Madpack 4? From the moment you punch your first tree to the final quest and dimension that doesn't seem to exist, you will be fighting an uphill battle against mobs and bosses that increase in difficulty as time goes on. Just about anything you do will try to kill you and test your skills. Development and testing of this pack can be found almost daily /JonBams This pack is intended to be played on hardcore, and the recommended world settings are set as default when creating a new world. This pack is still in development and may have bugs, please report them in the issue tracker. I was toying with it myself and a lot of the more irritating aspects can be tweaked and since there is little customization many mods can be safely pulled even without additional knowledge of things like CraftTweaker scripting.Madpack 4 is a *BETA* hardcore modpack made by JonBams and M1jordanallen, and the rest of the Baminati. Still, if you are enjoying RLCraft maybe try to salvage it yourself? Stuff like adding a gravestone mod so you stop loosing items on death, look through the mods and configs and change that annoying random respawn, overly common dragons, disable the mods that are griefing your base, stuff like that. Things with mob difficulty and adventure like Dungeons Dragons and Space Shuttles and Dimension Zero are both expert-type tech progression packs rather than just survival for example. Some will have two and most are not as close to normal Minecraft "rules" and crafting as RLCraft. Otherwise there are packs with "Real Life" elements (Anything with Terrafirmacraft, Homestead on ATLauncher, first few ages of Sevtech sorta,) packs with very high mob difficulty (Invasion, Craft of the Titans, Madpack 4) and packs with adventure (Roguelike Adventures and Dungeons, Hexxit Updated.). IMO, in it's own way it is also harder to get into the dungeon-diving portion due to it's progression being tied into Terrafirmacraft and generally being fairly well made and therefor less easily exploitable. But it also goes further into tech than some might like as it progresses, is overall a lot less "vanilla" minecraft than RLC, and is in 1.7.10 so no Ice and Fire or other newer mods. Terrafirmapunk is probably the closest to what I would want from RLCraft's in concept, a strong foundation in realistic survival, plenty of mob difficulty but without the total griefy BS of RLCraft. Just some food for thought.ĭepends on what elements you are looking for but I've not really found a perfect "RLCraft but good" match. My goal was to give the people something that could actually happen and see how well they would bring back our species in the aftermath. Of course a more polished storyline would be necessary but its merely the jist of the concept i have in mind. Now with just those 2 thrown in, which btw is quite possible look it up, you could explain ever single mod for hte most part i had chosen. ![]() During this 3 super massive blackholes would merge in space causing a MASSIVE gravity wave that also hit the earth causing all kinds of issue including but not limited too genetic mutations especially due to the ozone layer depletion and atmospheric as well a other global changes we are seeing now. ![]() The pack would revolve the concept that a handful of Coronal Mass ejections would have hit the earth over the course of one week. All of which have more or less real life applications other then a flight mod i threw in. I threw a pack togethar last night just for grins and giggles and it was around 200 mods. I mean who wants to give a stranger precious resource space. This issue i am arising in is having a network to test it on and people for testing and feedback. The mods in 1.12.2, although i wish i had rotarycraft and the dc electricity mod as well, could make one insanely good pack with an actual real life scenario implemented. It seems people literally lack any type of education from reality itself. I have had an itch to actually create a logical pack progression based on a real life scenario(s). Im not even sure much configuration was put into it. ![]() Ive tested the pack and so much is ridiculously over exaggerated. I like the idea of what was behind it but imo was really poorly implemented.
